Double Bass Fishing with the Double Fluke Rig (aka Donkey Rig)
I have been bass fishing this year on the weekends whenever I could so far this year and I have been throwing a bait called a donkey rig (double fluke rig). Its basically 2 Flukes rigged up with 2 swivels that lets them swim back and forth, it is incredibly effective in clear water. I have tried it in Dark and cloudy water a few times this year and have not had any luck. It is important to tie it correctly in regards to line length for each leader and if you search the internet its easy to find detailed instructions on how to do so. I was actually told about this rig by a pro fisherman about 6 years ago but this year was the first time I tried it out. Its incredibly fun and gives you the opportunity to catch 2 bass at once (which I did 3 times already). Basically all these catches have been at the same lake that I fished a few times, this lake has clear water and an abundance of bait fish so the rig really catches fish. Its so much fun I am going to keep using it this year so I am sure another video is coming soon!
