Gator Quest! A day of Killer Speckled Trout Fishing!
It's February 7th and I am on a Roll with my 3rd afternoon fishing the flats in a row. Hard not to go out when the trout are thick and you know your going to limit out each time. This was just a beautiful couple hours of fishing and I caught around 20 trout that day with I believe 15 of them on video. The jig was the hot bait all day but found some action on the Mirrolure and the Vudu Mullet. No Redfish came to play but the following day they did show up. This day ended really nice as I actually had trouble getting one over 20 inches until the final fish. Before I landed that last fish I had a great streak of 18"-19" fish leading up to it. It was a really fun day of fishing in the Ultraskiff.
