Fishing for Trout and Redfish Feb 1st 2019
Its Feb 1st, 2019. In Chicago on this day and time it was -48 Degrees, in Tampa Bay Florida it was 75 Degrees. I felt so thankful this day I just had to go fishing in the Ultraskiff. This single Day Trip Video I made here is my second of the year on the flats. The fishing was on fire right from the very first cast as I targeted one of my favorite holes on my first stop where I know fish usually group up. I made a quick limit of trout and nailed a beautiful 24" trout on a MirrOlure in about 1.5' of water to finish my bag limit with an over slot fish. I also nailed a couple trout on the Vudu Mullet and even caught a Redfish on the Vudu which was a pleasant surprise. It was a great couple hours of fishing. I have a lot more great action coming your way as we had a nice run of perfect weather in early February this year, looks like March is going to be very windy, we will see how it shakes out. Bass Fishing has been slow lately but am hoping for a great March. Stay tuned for the NEXT ADVENTURE!
