Speckled Trout (Spotted Seatrout) Fishing in the Ultraskiff Ep. 1

The Speckled Trout or Otherwise known as the Spotted Sea-trout is a favorite target of Fishermen because of its cold water tolerances and it's delicious table fare.  I have always loved fishing for Speckled Trout in the Ultraskiff, it's perfect for inching your way across flats and dropping your anchor pin every 20 years or so.  Only difference this year is that I am not using any Live or Dead Bait at all.  Learning from guys like C.A. Richardson on T.V. has taught me a lot about suspending twitch baits and this year all I can say is they work.   This is also my first year using Bait-casters in Saltwater and I must say I am so happy I upgraded my tackle.  The rate and ease that get to cast around the Ultraskiff 360 is certainly a big improvement.  It's still early in January and the Trout are averaging 18".  Since I started fishing the flats again I have not caught a Gator Trout yet, from my experience you don;t start catching a lot of Big Trout around here until Mid Feb-April when they start breeding in the shallows of the Spoil Islands.  So for my next trout video I expect to have some Monster Gator Trout in it.
