Tough Launch Series: Tiny Mangrove Cut
Another addition to our collection of "Tuff Launch" Demonstration videos. This time I found myself attempting to gain access to a Mangrove covered tidal river. On Google Maps it looked ok but when I arrived it was evident that I had better film it since the cut through the mangroves was small and the terrain was muddy with mangroves roots shooting up everywhere. What made this a special challenge is the fact that I wore jeans and sneakers, so I had to pull this off without stepping into the river. I did it by just piling everything into the skiff and then pushing off from shore, then I set up the Ultraskiff and took a towel and cleaned off all of the mud and dirt before I started fishing. Overall it went without a problem and I was able to get the boat out and loaded up without getting my feet wet or being bitten my 1000 mosquitoes. Hope you enjoyed watching, Tight Lines!
