Bluefish on the flats!? Trout and Red Fishing Feb 18th 2019
On Feb 18th I went out on the flats and was super optimistic, everything lined up for a great day until I saw a dolphin just tearing up my best areas. I only caught 5 reds and 1 keeper trout and this video would not of been published if it were not for catching a good sized bluefish. In the winter we see an occasional bluefish, usually they are small fish 1-2 lbs at most running with the Spanish mackerel. To catch this 5lb Bluefish on the flats was a surprise and he put up one Hell of a fight on my trout fishing rods. So because of him, this video exists.
