Successful Early Spring Trout and Redfish on the Ultraskiff Feb 11th 2019
It's Feb 11th 2019. While on a really hot streak of Saltwater Trips on The Ultraskiff in early Spring I once again found great success on the flats. It was a surreal afternoon with low cloud cover rolling through in big patches and a light winds. Ideal conditions for fishing. I found multiple healthy Speckled Trout between 16 and 20 inches, then found a couple over 20" towards the end of th evideo witha couple redfish mixed in as a bonus. All in all a really fun quick limit of trout on a pleasant afternoon. I was throwing my favorite lures for fishing the flats which include a 4.5" Vudu Mullet, a MirrOlure MirrOdine and a 1/4 oz Jig Head with a Chick on a chain paddle tail soft plastic.
