Trout and Red Drum Fishing! January 2019
It's 2019, this single Day Trip Video I made here is my first of the year, it was my second Saltwater outing so far. The week before I went out and the trout were much smaller with a lot of Rat Redfish mixed in. This day of fishing was much better with some really nice trout boated. I am only using artificial baits, the 1/4 oz Jog Head with a paddle Tail Swimbait has been the #1 lure so far with the Mirrodine and the 4.5" Vudu Mullet tied for second place. I almost forgot how much I love flats fishing in the Ultraskiff. As I am sure many people know these are the most productive months for trout fishing here in the West Central part of Florida. In March is when the really big trout start showing up to breed in the shallows and things really get interesting. Stay tuned I have been fishing a lot lately and every day has been limited out quick with loads of great action.
